Well I haven't been successful in keeping this journal up on a daily basis like Scott. My excuse is that while he is in Korea a whole new environment, I'm here in the same environment I've lived in for 27 years so it's pretty stale by now.

So...it's officially spring in Thunder Bay. The subway of potholes is always a sure sign! In fact the potholes appeared before the warm weather!

Today it rained and rained. The only positives to this is that a) you don't have to shovel rain and b) it will melt the snow you had to shovel!

All the nice weather occurred during the week while I was working and couldn't enjoy it. Actually I had no free time this week so even on my days off I couldn't get out and enjoy the beautifully mild weather and bright sunshine. I have this coming week-end off so I can only hope the weather will be good.

I have two weddings to attend this year and I plan on being able to wear a killer dress to both. Eyrin has decided to help me in my quest. Everyday after work we're going walking for an hour. Then once the snow is gone I'm going back to my once a day roller blading route. Of course eventually I'll require toning but I'm determined to for once in my life look stunning in a dress.

Saturday I took Karen out as her birthday present. We went and saw Proof at Magnus Theatre. It was pretty good. I'd forgotten how much I like live theatre. I wish I had the money to go to every Magnus show.

In the program for the show there was an advertisement encouraging artists to submit possible posters for next season's plays. If your design is chosen you get a season's pass to Magnus for that year and you get to display your work in the theatre during the run of the play. Maybe I'll give it a go. I'm not sure I'm good enough but perhaps it's worth a shot.

After the play we had drinks and nachos at Aurora Grille. Wendy, Ellen, Mandy and Ryan joined us there. It was a fun evening out. I hope Karen enjoyed it despite the fact that it was supposed to be a surprise!

At my photography club meeting tonight my boss presented an offer to the members. The Museum has asked if the members of the club would like to display their work in the Museum for a few months. I'm going to try for it. Once again I'm not sure that I'm good enough at it. The other members are a lot more experienced than me.
